About the author and creator
My real estate experience and knowledge of the many beachfront condos along the Emerald Coast of Florida was gained beginning in 1992 when I walked up to the Destin main office of the top brokerage in the area, Abbott Realty, and applied for a job. After gaining employment I enjoyed six years of experience while working in their 24-hour vacation rentals call center. In the offseason I was tasked with helping coordinate familiarity tours for many of these same featured properties to help train call center employees and new hires. Abbott Realty had over 3,000 vacation rental units at the time - the largest rental management company by far at that time. During the last two of my six years I became the night shift supervisor. This experience then led to over 20 years in real estate sales beginning in 1998 with Abbott Realty, specializing in sales of condos/waterfront property from Panama City Beach to Destin, Okaloosa Island, Navarre Beach and Perdido Key.
Inclusive of locations built in 2002 or later in Panama City Beach, I've physically stepped inside close to 90% of these featured buildings at least once and close to 50% of them more than once.
