My real estate career, leading to experience and knowledge of the many beachfront condos along the Emerald Coast of Florida, was gained beginning in 1992 when I walked into Abbott Realty's main office in Destin - the largest brokerage in the area at the time and applied for a job. After gaining employment I received my first six years of experience while working in their 24-hour vacation rental call center. During the offseason I was tasked with coordinating familiarity tours for many of these same featured properties to help train call center employees and new hires. Abbott Realty had over 3,000 vacation rental units - the largest rental management company by far at the time. During the last two years of this employment I was employed as the night shift supervisor - a demanding job that included many tasks as well as handling customer service issues as guests checked in to their rentals.

This experience led to nearly three decades in real estate sales after gaining my Florida license in 1998. My focus was specializing in waterfront investment property in the way of gulf front homes and condominiums that stretched from Panama City Beach to Destin, Okaloosa Island, Navarre Beach and Perdido Key near the Alabama border.

Over the years I've sold or listed multitudes of properties; from sales of individual gulf front condominiums on the beach to listing major developments at the pre-construction stage or working as an on-site agent, often coordinating hard hat tours for under construction projects. This included many locations, especially during the construction boom in the early to mid 2000's.

Inclusive of locations built in 2002 or later in the Panama City Beach area, I've physically stepped inside the vast majority of the buildings featured in this guide at least once and close to half of the locations multiple times.
